As Transcendent’s Managing Director of Business Service, Jatinder personally oversees recruitment for Automotive, Banking and Financial Services.
Jatinder started Transcendent in 2010, following 12 years working in the automotive industry and another 16 years within financial services.
Working all over the world with leading automotive and financial service companies, Jatinder has gained a particularly deep understanding for both industries and the distinctive requirements for each function. Because of this, he has served on the boards of many companies and continues to advise several on strategy and operations. In addition, he has built a wide network of contacts in these and other relevant fields, and so is able to source precisely qualified talent for specific positions.
FION KARIS WOON
Fion is a leading recruiter for Transcendent, with domain expertise focused on the hospitality and tourism sectors.
Fion began her recruitment career with Kelly Services Singapore in 2007, moved to RecruitPlus Consulting in 2009, and has been with Transcendent since its start in 2010.
Compiling an impressive track record of successful talent placement, Fion has worked closely with world-renowned hotels and resorts, high-end service apartments, leading cruises, as well as luxury retail malls. While her accomplishments are the result of her being an outstanding and effective recruiter, Fion also has extensive industry experience. She started her professional career as a Guest Relations Officer (GRO) for the Valley Wing at Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts. In this role, she attended regularly to high-profile guests: top executives, heads of state and the occasional royalty. In fact, it was her management of China’s Vice-Premier Madam Wu Yi’s visit to Singapore that garnered favourable feedback from Madam Wu herself and led to Fion being requested specially to attend the vice-premier during her return visit in 2007. Fion’s high standards and devotion to her work have won her the Excellent Service Award by Spring Singapore twice – Gold in 2006 and Star in 2007.
